When you hear the terms “pole barn or post frame building,” what image comes to mind? A durable farm shop for the hardworking farmer and his/her equipment? A large showroom exhibiting the newest sports car or heavy-duty truck? A spacious hobby shop for the classic car collector and his/her collection? A horse barn equipped with an indoor riding arena for the equine enthusiast? All of the above? The design flexibility of post frame -construction is mind-boggling. Routine maintenance is a crucial part of extending any product’s useful life. We change the oil in our vehicle and rotate the tires. We install software updates on our electronics. We hire professional landscapers to prune the shrubs and weed the landscaping around our stick-built home. While no post-frame building lasts forever (just like the examples listed above), you can prolong its lifecycle with regular pole barn maintenance.
