Who Are the Best Pole Barn Builders in the Midwest?

Posts

It can be very overwhelming looking for the best pole barn builders for a number of reasons:

  1. You’re going to be spending a lot of money on a pole barn.
  2. You want this building to last at least 40-50 years.
  3. You want to make sure you’re making the right decision.
Whether you hear a word-of-mouth recommendation, see a large site sign, or decide to search “best pole barn builders,” online, it can be difficult to know who to choose to build your building (and more importantly, who to trust). While we do offer a number of services for farm, commercial, residential and equine buildings, we also understand that we can’t service everyone.

What do I mean by that? Unfortunately, we can’t build everywhere...even though we would like to.

Currently, our services are limited to Indiana and Illinois. However, if you have a unique project that is outside of our building territory, we will look into pursuing other options to make something work.

We want to make sure that our current customers are getting the best value for their post frame building. But, we also want to make sure we’re helping those customers we can’t serve. How do we do that? By providing you with our personal recommendations.

The Best Pole Barn Builders in the Midwest (Our Recommendations):

    1. Morton Buildings
      Headquarters: Morton, IL
Insights: Morton has been around for over 110 years. They offer services in residential, farm, equestrian, commercial and repairs. They also have many locations across the country.

    2. Lester Buildings
      Headquarters: Lester Prairie, MN
Insights: Founded in 1947, Lester offers post frame building systems for farm, livestock, equine, hobby and commercial purposes. They also sell material-only packages.

    3. Cleary Building Corporation
      Headquarters: Verona, WI
Insights: Since 1978, Cleary has been designing and building post frame buildings. Also a national builder, they have manufacturing plants in Nebraska and Idaho.

    4. Wick Buildings
      Headquarters: Mazomanie, WI
Insights: Wick Buildings is a privately held Wisconsin based company founded in 1954. They produce post frame buildings for animal confinement systems, horse housing facilities, suburban structures and commercial and industrial buildings.

    5. National Frame Builders Association (NFBA)
      Headquarters: Chicago, IL
Insights: While the NFBA isn’t a post frame building company, we do refer many of our customers that we can’t service to their website. Why? Because they will help you find a builder who is close to you and Edwin Bahler, our former CEO, founded the association.

It’s a tough decision deciding who will build your post frame building. Now that you know the other companies that we’d trust to help you with your building needs, if you’d like to lean more about how FBi Buildings might be the best solution for you, just give us a call at 800-552-2981.
