Have you been tossing around the idea of post frame construction? You know you need a new hobby barn or farm shop but maybe you’re waiting until the time is right (or the cash flow is on hand). Which isn’t a bad idea...it’s never good to rush something.

I’m sure you’ve started doing (or have even completed) your research. Maybe you’re looking for a post frame company with years of experience, or maybe you want to find a company who’s part of the midwest.

We also understand that is can be very overwhelming when you’ve finally decided to make the commitment to build a pole barn

  1. You’re going to be spending a lot of money on a pole barn.
  2. You want this custom designed building to last for the next generation using it.
  3. You want to make sure you’re making the right decision. Are high quality materials going to be used or do you have to assemble your own building kit?

Farm_Shop_SuttonWhether you hear a word-of-mouth recommendation, see a large site sign, or decide to search “best pole barn builders,” online, it can be difficult to know who to choose to build your building (and more importantly, who to trust). Because everything you read on the internet is true, right? Not entirely.

While we do offer a number of services for farm, commercial, residential and equine buildings, we also understand that we can’t service everyone. What do I mean by that? Unfortunately, we can’t construct post frame buildings nationally...even though we would like to.

Currently, our services are limited to Indiana, Illinois, Eastern Iowa, and Southern Michigan. However, if you have a unique project that is outside of our building territory, we will look into pursuing other options to see if it would be feasible for us to construct your pole barn.

We want to make sure that our current customers are getting the best value for their next horse barn or industrial warehouse. But, we also want to make sure we’re helping those customers we can’t serve.

You’re probably wondering, “how do we do that?” The answer is easy. We want to make sure we’re providing you with our personal recommendations for post frame builders.

5) National Frame Builders Association (NFBA)

Insights: While the NFBA isn’t a post frame building company, we do refer many of our customers that we can’t service to their website. Why? Because they will help you find a builder who is close to you and Edwin Bahler, our former CEO, founded the association.
