With the wide range of pole barn features, horse barns can vary widely in price. So how much do you want to spend, how big of an equine barn do you need, and what horse barn features do you want to include?
This blog outlines the prices you can roughly expect regarding the price of a horse barn.
How Horse Barn Costs Vary
So you’re probably wondering, how much does it cost to build a horse barn? Well, we can’t answer this question exactly because each horse barn is different.
There are so many factors when it comes to building any structure that the price is not an exact number. However, what we can do is give you a general idea of how much construction for any post-frame project should cost.
Below we will dive into several standard floor plans from our horse barn plan book and add a few options from above to give you a ballpark price.
Hobby Horse Barns
Growing up, I always enjoyed riding horses with my friends. These animals become like a member of your family, so in return, you want to build them a barn that is comfortable and safe.
If you are looking for a new barn for your horses, you may be looking for a four-stall horse barn plan. One thing to keep in mind is if you expand your herd of horses, you may want to consider a six-stall floor plan or room to add additional stalls in the future.
Our Horse Barn Plan Book can help you find the size of the barn and floor plan that meets your needs. One of those plans is the Country Classic. This 36’ x 48’ horse stable includes a wash bay, feed & tack room, storage, and four stalls.
From the information in our blog, How Much do Horse Barn Features Cost, we have put together a ballpark price for what the Country Classic floor plan could cost in July of 2023.
Please keep in mind that this price will fluctuate, and we’re giving you the current estimated cost.
